HYBRID EVENT

The safety of all participants and volunteers is our top priority and we will be following local and state guidelines regarding large gatherings for the Cargo Connect  season.
Unless things change, we are offering both hybrid and remote model events.  Some venues may offer both models.  

Hybrid events will likely look like this:

1. 10 days before the event, teams will submit videos introducing their team, Project Presentation, Robot Design and Robot Parade (this will be of their robot moving back and forth in front of the screen).
2. On the day of the event, teams will go to the assigned venue and will do an in person judging Q&A session (20 mins – 5 mins for each) where they will be asked questions about Robot Design,  Innovation Project, Core Values and about their coach/mentor 
3. Following the Q&A, teams will be moved into the arena area where they will run their three rounds of robot competition.  (25 mins total – 5 min robot run  & scoring then 5 min break / robot iterations team pow wow for all 3 matches) 
4. After the performance matches, teams will be dismissed to leave the event and wait for the remote awards ceremony that evening.
