California Grants

Argosy New Team Grant

$3,000 in unrestricted funding available for new California FIRST Robotics Competition teams. Apply ASAP.

We’re excited to share an exciting opportunity made possible through a generous grant from the Argosy Foundation to support California FIRST Robotics Competition rookie teams for the 2026-2027 season.

About the Grant:

• $3,000 in unrestricted funds per team. Use it for registration, parts, travel, or any other team need.
  

• Available only to new FIRST Robotics Competition teams starting in the 2026-2027 season.
  

• First come, first served. Limited funds available. Apply early!
  

Key Deadline:

• September 11, 2026 is the final date to apply, but funding may run out sooner.
  

How to Apply:

• Email your Regional Director as soon as possible.
  

• Include your team name, number (if available), school or organization, and a brief explanation of your rookie status.
  

Important Notes:

• Submitting a request does not guarantee funding. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.

• Teams selected will receive funds via Hack Club Bank and must set up a team account.
