The Ultimate Sport for the MindTM
Starting with a Kit of Parts, teams of high school students design, program, and build industrial-sized robots to play an action-packed game, released in January. They compete on a themed field as part of a three-team alliance in the spirit of Coopertition®.
In 360-degree learning guided by adult mentors, each FIRST Robotics Competition team also creates a team identity, raises funds to meet its goals, and advances appreciation for STEM in its community.

March 21-22, 2026
The California District Los Angeles Qualifying Event is a high-energy, high-tech spectator sporting event where teams, professionals and young people together solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. The program is life-changing, career-molding and a lot of fun.
Spectators welcome March 21-22, 2026! Catch the excitement of this intense competition, tour the pits to visit with teams and robots, and cheer on their favorite teams. Admission is free.
Teams will vie for awards and a spot at the FIRST California Northern or Southern State Championship. The competition is part of FIRST, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology.

Welcome to FIRST® AGE™ presented by Qualcomm, our 2025-2026 robotics season inspired by archaeology.
In REBUILT™ presented by Haas, a new challenge releasing January 10, 2026, FIRST Robotics Competition teams will use engineering skills and re-imagine the past.
Resources for Teams
LOAD IN: Friday, 3/20, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Load in as early as possible
- Designate Load-in/Set-up and a separate Inspection crews
- Teams will pull into lanes and unload completely Drivers MUST remain with the vehicle at all times
- After unloading, drivers will be directed to parking
General Parking
- Parking is free.
- Once lot is full, cars will be directed to overflow lots.
Overflow Parking: SAT/SUN ONLY (see bottom map)
- Location 1: Millennium Space Systems (enter south on Douglas)
- Location 2: Da Vinci Connect HS (550 Continental) – 10 to 15 min walk
Trailer/Oversized overnight parking is available on outdoor basketball courts
- Behind locked gates
- Security will direct to location
- Any vehicles/trailers left overnight in the main parking lot at Da Vinci may be ticketed or towe
- All cars enter on Douglas Ave.
- Team entrance to the building each morning is ONLY on the south side of the gym.
- Registered volunteers may enter on the north side.
- No food or drinks may be consumed inside the gym; the only exception is bottled water.
- No food or concession sales are available on site.
- Many restaurants available close by. See map.
- Outside food is allowed outside on campus.
- Pop-up tents are allowed.
- No grilling or cooking of any kind.
Machine Shop Checkin: Located in the practice field room. Provide a drawing, CAD file, or other description of what is needed.
What is available: Band saw, chop saw, drill press, CNC, 3D print
Machine shop runners deliver the information to our machinists and then bring back the completed part(s) to the teams.
