- A conversation with Amy Kaur – the co-founder of EngineeringGals, Civil Engineer and model. She will be discussing the importance of community and being unapologetic in paving our own path.
- Meet your sisters in STEM who “get” what it’s like to be on a girl on a FIRST team.
A girl-powered event to inspire your STEM journey.
Female, female-identifying and non-binary students are encouraged to attend.

Attendees at the online event will be entered into raffle for a chance to win one of the below prizes.
- Private Tour of the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering Research and Teaching labs – for you and your team of up to 12 people.

ABOUT AMY KAUR: Amy Kaur is an entrepreneurial civil engineer and strong community leader with the goal of inspiring more women to become engineers. As a cofounder of Engineering Gals, she has cultivated a global community of engineers focused on empowering ecosystems for women in engineering. As a first generation American and college graduate, Amy strives to amplify underrepresented voices in STEM by hosting the Gals Chat podcast, live seminars and providing valuable resources for students and professionals.
ABOUT ENGINEERING GALS: Engineering Gals is a diverse, inclusive and influential network of engineers. Engineering Gals was founded by Amy Kaur and Maritza Bravo who are professionals in the engineering industry. As the founders of Engineering Gals, Amy and Maritza have built a worldwide community of engineers focussed on positive and empowering ecosystems for women in engineering. Engineering Gals conducts mentorship, weekly podcast episodes, career development workshops, and communicates the importance of creating positive academic and professional cultures for women in engineering.
