Join us for an afternoon of inspiration with fellow industry leaders and the next generation of science and tech innovators.
As our guest you will enjoy access to our Invited Guest Reception, a preview of robotics matches and an option for a student escorted tour of the “pits”.
Our Invited Guest Reception is held on Friday, March 21st 2025, the day of practice matches for teams. You are also invited to return on March 22 and/or March 23 to catch the action during official competitions days.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology.
Under strict rules and limited time and resources, teams of high school students are challenged to build industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams, while also advancing respect and appreciation for STEM within the local community.
We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind.
High-school student participants call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.”
Over 1,500 high school students along with their 50+ life-sized robots, will come together at the UCSD LionTree Arena to measure the effectiveness of their innovations, test the power of collaboration, and demonstrate their passion for science and technology.
It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get.
